Track Construction Tutorial Video, prt3

This is Part Three of a Three part series of tutorial videos in Track Construction

In this series I demonstrate how I would approach writing a chill/dub track from scratch.

I cover such topics as Sound Design, Section Construction, Arranging and Mixing, and use only Ableton Live native instruments.


 

In this Video..

~I take the second hook I started last video, and extand and expand it onto the outro.

~From there Its a matter of going back over the whole track, doing a final arrange of all my elements, and mixing them all together. Just basicly Smoothing over all the edges and make it shine!


This track was written, arranged and mixed down entirely, in three, hour sessions. (so, yes its a little rough round the edges in places..)

    all i have to say is tom cosm is the man back in march of last year i got ahold of ableton so i could tie in all my software together and the first thing i did when i got was take the tour than look up on youtube to see if there where any good tutorials for it and there was tom cosmand was able to most the basic of the programs down in a span of under 30mins and every time i see hes got a new vid i check it out anyway just to see what he has to say
