Track Construction Tutorial Video, prt1

This is Part One of a Three part series of tutorial videos in Track Construction

In this series I demonstrate how I would approach writing a chill/dub track from scratch.

I cover such topics as Sound Design, Section Construction, Arranging and Mixing, and use only Ableton Live native instruments.

In this Video..

~Firstly I start by constructing a loop from pads/chords, bass, percussion and then a lead sound. This becomes my first hook.

~Next I strip the loop back to the intro, and create a progression from Intro, to groove, then into the first hook.

This track was written, arranged and mixed down entirely, in three, hour sessions. (so, yes its a little rough round the edges in places..)
